Plaza area outside the Library

• LSE Estates are re-laying the Plaza directly outside the Library. The majority of the work will complete on Monday 24 November.
• Access to the Library will be maintained at all times
  • Library entrance: Until Sunday 23 November, contractors are working on the Portugal Street side of the Plaza. The Library entrance route is via the ramp on St Clement's Lane.  See map. 
  • Library exit: Until Sunday 23 November, to ease congestion at the Library entrance, please use the alternative exit route when leaving the Library.  This is clearly signposted (Note: the alternative exit is in operation until 7.30pm each day - after this time you can exit via the main doors until the Library closes that day).
• New! From Monday 24 November, the Plaza will be fully accessible - please use the main glass doors for both entrance and exit.  The alternative exit route onto Portugal Street will no longer be available to Library users for either entrance or exit.
• The Plaza Café has reopened, with access via the ramp on St Clement's Lane.
