Book moves

From June until early December 2008, all items in closed access will be held in an external store. This is to ensure their safety while work takes place on the Plaza area directly above closed access.

It will take approximately three weeks to move the books back once the Plaza project is complete in late November. Exact dates for the book moves will be announced nearer the time.

During the book moves there will be some disruption to the services in the immediate area as follows:

• Some PC and study desks will be unavailable during the move.  These will be clearly marked.
• Study rooms R021-R025 will be closed
• 8 lockers may be more difficult to access - please notify a member of Library staff if you are affected.

All items will remain accessible during the book moves via a reduced fetch service.
