The information in the record is vital for locating the items in the Library, and can also help you find related books and journals.

Author: Click on the author links to display records of other publications by the same author.
Subject: Subject headings are terms describing the subject matter of the item. Click on a subject link to display other records with the same subject heading.
Location: the name of the collection to which the item belongs is displayed here along with the kind of publication, for example Set Text, Pamphlet, Periodical. In this example, it is a Course Collection Set Text. The location shows you which part of the Library the item is in.

If the book you need is available in electronic form, you will see Networked E-Book as the location. Click the link next to Linked Resources to go to the electronic copy.

To check whether a journal is available in electronic form, click on the Journals button on the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
Classmark: The classmark is listed at the bottom of the record. You need to know the classmark to find the book or journal on the shelves. Click on the classmark to browse other records with similar classmarks.
Loan Status: this indicates whether the book is on loan to another reader.
