Search by Title Keyword
 

If you only know a few words from the title of a publication, you can try a keyword search. Keywords are important or significant words in a title.

• Click on Search to begin a new search.
• Click on Advanced Search to display the Advanced Search page, then type the keywords you are looking for in the Search for box. 
• Select a search type from the drop down list.
• Ensure that Title appears in the Search In box. 
• Click on the Search button to start the search and return a list of matches.

• The number of records found is displayed at the top of the list. 
• If more than 20 records match your search terms, the first 20 are displayed.
• Click on the Next button to display the next 20 records.

Activity: Search by Title Keyword
 

1. With the Advanced Search page displayed, type the keyword veil in one of the Search for boxes. 
2. Ensure that Title is displaying in the Search in drop down list. 
3. Click on the Search button to start the search and return a list of references.
4. How many records have been found?
5. Scroll down the list of records. What is the record number for each of these items?

6. When you have located each of these publications, click on the Search button to return to the Advanced Search page.
7. Type the keywords veil violence in one of the Search for boxes.
8. Select the appropriate search type all of these from the drop down list.
9. Ensure that Title is displaying in the Search in drop down list. 
10. Click on the Search button to start the search.
