Browse by Title
 

If you know the title of a particular book and wish to find out where it is in the Library, one of the easiest ways to search for it is by browsing.

If you browse for a title, the Catalogue will produce an alphabetical list of titles that match your search terms. 

 

 

Tip

Do not type initial articles, such as The, An or A. 

Activity: Browse by Title
 

  1. With the Quick Search page displayed, type: Lifting the Veil in the Find This box.
  2. Select Title Browse from the Find Results in drop down list. 
  3. Click on the Search button to start the search and retrieve a list of titles. 
  4. Click on the title link for Lifting the Veil in Cape Colony to display the brief bibliographic record for that publication.
  5. Click on the Back button of your browser to return to the search results page.
  6. Click on the title link for Lifting the veil : communal violence and communal harmony in contemporary India to display the brief bibliographic record for that publication.
