Access the Library Catalogue
 

You can access the Library Catalogue from any computer with access to the Web.

• From the LSE Home Page, click on the Library link to display the Library Home Page.
• Click on the Library Catalogue quick link to display the Library Catalogue – Quick Search page.
• Switch between Quick Search and Advanced Search by clicking on the tabs.
• Move from the Library Catalogue to other important parts of the Library’s website by clicking on the navigation bar at the top of the screen.

Activity: Access the Library Catalogue
 

1. Log on to the LSE network and run Internet Explorer.
2. From the LSE Home Page, click on the Library link to display the Library Home Page.
3. Click on the Library Catalogue quick link to display the Library Catalogue – Quick Search page.
4. Click on the Advanced Search tab, then click again on the Quick Search tab to move between the two main search pages.
5. Click on the Reading Lists link on the navigation bar at the top of the screen. Close the Reading Lists window to return to the Library Catalogue.
6. Click on the Journals link on the navigation bar at the top of the screen. Close the Journals window to return to the Library Catalogue.
