If the fire alarm sounds

Leave the building immediately, following the green signs to the nearest available emergency exit. Do not use the lifts, or the spiral ramp, or stop to collect belongings. Go to the assembly point in Sheffield Street, outside LSE Health Centre.

If you have impaired mobility, go to one of the designated Fire Refuge Points (FRP) in the staircase lobbies on the Grange Court or Portugal Street side of the building. If you do not know how to get to a FRP, ask one of the staff wearing a yellow tabard. Use the telephone in the FRP to maintain contact with School Security during the alarm. Ask at the Service Counter for an appointment to discuss this arrangement or to see a FRP, should you wish to do so.
