Wireless network connection on the LSE Campus

Introduction

LSE provide wireless access points in various locations across Campus. Wireless access is not campus-wide, but there are in excess of 90 wireless zones in teaching rooms, open spaces and recreational areas.

For more comprehensive information on the location of the LSE Wireless Zones, please see the LSE Wireless Map.

All wireless zones are Wi-Fi 802.11b compatible, although the majority of zones have now been upgraded to Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g. Essentially this means that the majority of older wireless network cards should be compatible with the LSE wireless network.
