  2. Enter your username and password

  3. Select your status (Student or Staff)

  4. Click Connect

Your H: space will be added as a network drive and should be visible in Computer (known as My Computer in Windows 2000/XP)

Using a network drive from home:

1. You connected to your H: space successfully, but where are your files?

Windows Vista:

Click Start (the Windows button in the lower left corner) and then click Computer

Windows XP:

From the Start menu open My Computer

Windows 2000:

Open My computer from the Desktop.

2. You will see a new drive called Server?.lse.ac.uk\?_users\yourLSEusername

3. Open this drive and you should see the familiar structure of your H: space.

If you are using a dial-up connection, LSE recommend that you copy files you wish to use from your H:Space to your local PC. If you make any changes copy them back when you have finished. If you are using a high speed connection you should be able to use files directly from your H:Space without any problems

If you are off campus, please ensure that you have connected to the LSE VPN server first
