In order to use the computing equipment and software available in the School,
you must be a registered user. As a registered user, you will have a username
and a password which enable you to log in to the computing facilities. As a
member of the School, you are bound by the
Conditions of
Use of IT Facilities at the LSE and the
School's
Policy Statement on the Use of Information Technology. In particular,
users must not distribute offensive material, illegally copy software, breach
copyright or send mass unsolicited email messages. Misuse may result in the
withdrawal of access rights.
To register to access the network - you must contact your department's
Administrator or Office Manager who will then provide the Cluster team Support
Specialist with your details .
You can also register to use electronic mail at the same time. Once, you are
allocated an username and password, you should be able to logon to the network within one hour.
The email system
that is used in the School is Microsoft Exchange, which is accessed by using
Microsoft Outlook from the computer desktop.

Support Team for your department.
