Backups
Files held on central fileserver computers, which the user sees as
"h: space", are regularly backed up to provide protection against
system failure or loss of files. The system is not designed to guarantee recovery of files
accidentally deleted by users. However, it is often possible to restore such
files, if the accident is discovered quickly enough.
