Voicemail notification

Staff can now receive email notification of voicemail in 2 forms

1       Using a WAV attachment

Voicemail messages can be sent as e-mails with WAV attachments. The subject says, ‘You have voicemail’. After opening the e-mail double-click the icon and the message is replayed through your PC's speakers. Please contact Telecoms to set this up as we will have to alter your voicemail account profile.

2    Using Click-to-Call

Click-to-Call is handy for people who want the convenience (and speed) of e-mail notification of voicemail, but who don’t necessarily have sound facilities on their PC or who perhaps don’t wish for their messages to be overheard by nearby colleagues.

Click here, choosing "run this program from its current location", to install the Click-to-Call software. When installing, leave all settings as the default settings.

Please note: You may need to contact your cluster support to enable you to install this application.

After you have installed the software, contact Telecoms as we will have to alter your voicemail account profile to enable Click-to-Call to work.
