Staff volunteering
V4A - Volunteering 4 All
Volunteering 4 All is the LSE Employer-supported staff volunteering scheme. It is a joint venture between the LSE Volunteer Centre and the Staff Development Unit with the aim of encouraging more staff to use their skills - and to learn new ones- for the benefit of the community, LSE and yourselves!
What can I do?
We appreciate that staff may find it more difficult than students to find time for volunteering. However, if you can find the time, there are plenty of opportunities for you to volunteer during your weekends or in the evenings. Some projects require a regular commitment, but many are flexible and we also have one-off events that you can get involved in.
You may want to discuss within your department whether you could work flexitime in order to fit volunteering in during work hours.
Employee volunteering is an increasingly important and valued part of staff development in many companies and organisations.
