Latest

Applications for 2008 entry
The deadline for on-time applications for entry in September 2008 has now passed and all of our undergraduate courses are now full.

Therefore we are unable to consider late applications to any course.

UCAS Extra
Unfortunately, due to the number of applications already received by the School, LSE does not have any vacancies available in UCAS Extra, and we are therefore unable to consider any applications received through this scheme.

Admissions criteria
The Admissions criteria pages provide advice which is specific to each of our undergraduate courses giving details about each department's admissions criteria. There are separate pages on what to include in your personal statement, with further information for teachers and tutors which contains general information as well as advice for referees.

Information for offer holders
Applicants who have been made an offer of a place at the School should click here for an online copy of the Offer and Information for Accepted Students packs.

Parental experience of Higher Education
Applicants will have been advised that for entry in 2008, UCAS will include information regarding the parental experience of higher education of candidates on the UCAS form at the point of application. However applicants to LSE should note that it is not the School's policy to take this information into account (should this be disclosed) when making admissions decisions.

Financial support information
With the introduction of top-up fees in 2006, LSE has designed a number of bursaries and scholarships for students entering higher education. For terms and conditions, eligibility requirements and value of each award/scholarship, please refer to the Undergraduate applicant section on the Financial Support Office web pages.
