Transcripts (current students)

After each examination session, you will be sent a transcript of your marks. This is called the intermediate transcript.

Duplicate intermediate transcripts will normally be sent within three working days. You should add postal time to estimate when the transcripts should reach you.

During the results processing period, the online duplicate transcript ordering system is blocked for current students from 15 June onwards every year. Please note that we will not be able to produce a transcript for you during this period. You will be able to order your transcript online not earlier than Monday 21 July.

We can only provide you with an intermediate transcript if you have already taken some examinations, that is if you are a second or third year undergraduate student.

If you are still in your first year of undergraduate studies and need confirmation of the examinations you are due to sit this year, or if you are a postgraduate student, please email registry@lse.ac.uk.

If you are an MPhil/PhD student needing a record of your studies to date please email researchdegrees@lse.ac.uk .

To order your transcript on line, visit LSE for You page and use the following login:

• Username: transcript  
• Password: transcript

Then follow the instructions on the screen to order a transcript. When you enter your student number please miss off the "/1", "/2" or "/3" from the end of the number. 

Your intermediate transcript will contain the following information:

• Your full name 
• Your date of birth
• Your student number
• The title and subject of the course
• The details of the modules studied and the marks awarded
• Start date
• Expected completion date
• Language of instruction and assessment 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THIS YEAR'S FINALISTS

Undergraduate finalists and 9-month Masters programmes' finalists (finishing their studies in July):
You will be able to order a copy of your final degree transcript via LSE For You not earlier than Monday 21 July.

Please note that we are unable to produce a copy of your final transcript for you before those dates.
