Exams and Ceremonies The Exams and Ceremonies team are responsible for timetabling and organising examinations as well as implementing approved special exam arrangements for students who require them on medical/ personal grounds. The team are also responsible for arranging the presentation ceremonies. Financial Support Office The Financial Support Office administers awards and scholarships for both current and prospective students. They also offer a daily drop-in advice service for students experiencing financial hardship. Registration and Assessment The Registration and Assessment team is responsible for creating and maintaining the student record. This involves registering students onto programmes of study and managing the processes of course selection, course amendment and class allocation. During the exam period the team processes examination entries and mitigation claims; and is responsible for finalising and publishing the results. As well as maintaining the student files, they provide students with any documentation they may need such as transcripts and certificates of registration. The team are also responsible for administering the student loan scheme. SSC Advice and Reception team The Advice and Reception team are available to assist students and visitors with general queries relating to student administration, finance and admissions. Where more specialist advice is required, the team will signpost you to the relevant department or arrange an appointment with a specialist.
