Student Loans Company

All Student Support (Loans and Grants) will be paid by electronic transfer directly into your bank/building society account. It is therefore essential that the Student Loans Company have correct details of your bank/building society account in order to make the payment. This information is required well in advance of your programme start date.

The first installment of your Student Support will be released to your bank/building society account within five working days after LSE submits a bulk confirmation of student attendance to Student Loans Company. This confirmation will be sent on Tuesday 30 September in the afternoon. Despite the availability of the online registration facility from 5 September, please note that the first confirmation of registration by the School to the Student Loans Company cannot be made before 30 September.

If you have applied for student support from Student Loans Company, please make sure that you register (new students) or re-register (continuing students) for the new academic year before this date. Otherwise your payment will be delayed.

If you are a continuing student, please note that you have to re-apply for student support every year.

The subsequent two installments will be released within five working days from 29 January and 27 April.
