Student Counselling Service

Home Page - Welcome

Welcome to the LSE Student Counselling Service. We offer a free and confidential service to all students at LSE. Please first read Making an Appointment, which can be done by email, phone or in person by coming into the office in Tower 1 (U600)

We also run a busy schedule of Groups and Workshops; this page has powerpoints and videos from recent presentations, including Perfectionism, Procrastination and Psychological Issues Involved In The Task Of Writing. There is also a Stress Management handout, and relaxation tapes which you can download as an MP3 file.

Also, have a look at the many useful advice and self-help pages at www.student.counselling.co.uk, which have been written specially for students. The LSE Learning World site also has videos and notes from sessions on topics such as study skills, essay writing, revision and exam preparation.

Breaking news - coming up in 2008:

  • Studying and surviving at LSE - Wednesday 15 October, 2:15-3:15: Old Theatre.
  • Psychological Issues Involved In The Task Of Writing - Wednesday 22 October, 3:30 – 4:30: E171.

We hope you will find this website helpful, and welcome any feedback.
