  • Central Induction 'Flying Start' Briefing
  • Centre for Learning Technology [www.clt.lse.ac.uk]
    The Centre for Learning Technology (CLT) supports and promotes a range of learning technology initiatives in the School, including support and training for the School’s virtual learning environment, Moodle. The team offer a range of staff development activities including:
    ·        Group & one-to-one training and support for staff using Moodle & other learning technologies
    ·        A range of workshops delivered as part of the academic staff development programme. Topics include: ‘An Introduction to Learning Technologies’, ‘Using a range of Digital Media for Teaching’ & ‘Using Online Communication Tools’
    ·        Staff training classes in conjunction with the Library, as part of the E-literacy for E-learning Programme. Classes include: ‘Google and Beyond: advanced internet searching’, ‘Blogging for Beginners’ & ‘Images, Multimedia Resources and Copyright’.

Plus:  You may be interested in attending Biodanza classes:
'Biodanza is a system of music, dance movement, creativity and expression and was featured in the BBC TV series Making Slough Happy. The benefits are confidence, freedom, self-worth, wellbeing and happiness. You don't have to be a dancer to do it. There are no steps to learn, all the moves are easy to do and they are based on natural human movements. Biodanza is for the average person who wants to open up to all that's possible, and connect with their own magnificence'.
Gita Sootarsing has run classes for LSE staff in the past and runs her own classes at The Place, just off the Euston Road, 2 stops on the Piccadilly line from Holborn or half a dozen stops on buses 68,168,59 and 91.
