The Risk and Stochastics Seminar runs regularly throughout the year at LSE, featuring high profile speakers from academia and from industry. The seminar is intended as a forum for communication and discussion of current research, for interaction between practice and theory, and for the development of contacts between the students and prospective employers.
See Risk and Stochastics Seminars for further information, including the location, dates, seminar titles and abstracts. Please contact the seminar administrator Natalie Dawkins for further information about any of these seminars. All are very welcome to attend.
The Risk and Stochastics Day is an annual event, scheduled for the first time for the spring of 2007 and featured high profile speakers from the UK and overseas, presenting recent advances in the area of risk and stochastics, the first in a series of annual events aiming to communicate current advances in stochastic methods for measurement and management of risk in the areas of insurance, finance and their interface. The event was a huge success and we are pleased to announce that the forthcoming Risk and Stochastics Day will take place on March 19th, 2008. ^
