Interim Review: Deadlines and Documentation

DEADLINES FOR INTERIM REVIEW

Advancement/Deferral of Interim Review:                          by 17 October 2008

Requests for advancement/deferral of Interim Review to be made, in writing, to Human Resources.  Requests should comprise a full case for advancement/deferral on the standard Form and a full curriculum vitae of the candidate submitted on the Interim & Major Review CV template. 

Interim Review Submissions scheduled for 2008-2009:       by 7 November 2008
Heads of Department submit recommendations for passing Interim Review in the form of a full report on the individual(s) concerned, curriculum vitae and commentary on teaching contribution on the standard Forms, to Human Resources. 

Interim Review Submissions advanced to 2008-2009:        by 7 November 2008
Heads of Department submit recommendations for passing Interim Reviews advanced to the current session in the form of a full report on the individual(s) concerned, and commentary on teaching contribution on the standard Forms, to Human Resources (the curriculum vitae will have been submitted by the 17 October 2008 deadline).  

DOCUMENTATION FOR ADVANCEMENT/DEFERRAL OF INTERIM REVIEW

Please note:  these documents are stored in Public Folders and are only accessible to those with an LSE username and password.

  1. Advance/Defer Interim Review Form completed by the Head of Department setting out the reasons for the request to advance/defer Interim Review.
  2. Candidate's CV submitted on the Interim & Major Review CV template.* The Interim & Major Review CV template instructions to candidates is a separate document.  

DOCUMENTATION FOR INTERIM REVIEW

  1. Interim Review Form: completed by the Head of Department indicating the candidate's research and teaching activities and administrative contribution.
  2. Candidate's CV submitted on the Interim & Major Review CV template*. The Interim & Major Review CV template instructions to candidates is a separate document.
  3. The Teaching Contribution Form: completed by the candidate.

*The CV template for Interim & Major Review is to be completed by candidates for both Interim Review and Major Review.  The instructions to candidates on completion of the CV template indicate which sections are not relevant to Interim Review candidates. 

MEETING DATES

29 October 2008: The Promotions Committee meets to consider requests for advancement/deferral of Interim Reviews.

19 November 2008: The Promotions Committee meets to consider and make decisions on Interim Reviews.
