Big Four hit back at LSE study
The Big Four firms on Tuesday hit back at claims that their domination of auditing could have distorted the market and pushed up prices. The conclusions were made in an academic study conducted by LSE and sponsored by BDO Stoy Hayward, a rival to the Big Four, which maintained it had no influence over the results of the report.
