Book display in Senior Dining Room There are two book display cabinets in the Senior Dining Room which are used to display recent publications by LSE academics. Briefing Briefing is an online staff electronic newsletter. It aims to keep people across the School updated about the latest news, notices and personnel information during term time. It is distributed as an email message, with an online link to a web page, every Thursday during term time. Daily headlines The main national newspapers are scanned daily for mentions of LSE and higher education stories of interest to the School, its students and staff. When these are gathered, web links to the stories are made, and an email message is sent around with a short summary of each story and the relevant web link. Design The Design Unit provides design services for all the School's promotional and marketing needs. This includes annual reports, brochures, exhibitions, magazines and newsletters, as well as cartography. Contact designunit@lse.ac.uk
Events leaflet The Events leaflet is produced three times a year, and lists events open to the public over the course of the coming term. The text is prepared by the Press Office, with contributions from everyone in the School. If you would like to contribute text: ContactEsther Avery

Folders An LSE A4 size folder is available for staff to use for conferences, presentations or other events. To order a box of 30 of these, there is an internal cost price charge of £25. Please note these are stored at the printers and large orders will not be available on the day. If you need these for a certain date, please allow at least a week for ordering and delivery. Information We keep a lot of standard information about the School, which we try to keep as up to date as possible. You may find it useful to make use of this, see General Information about LSE. In addition we produce Profile which is the general leaflet about the School, and is available from the Old Building reception desk or the Press Office.
Internal communications You can contact us either if you need advice about handling internal communications, or if you have a particular item to communicate. LSE Magazine We produce LSE Magazine twice a year, mainly for alumni. The aim is to feature the School's latest thinking on issues in the social sciences. News&Views This is LSE's weekly newsletter for students and staff. It aims to be a lively means of communication for all members of the School. It is issued every Monday during term time, and is distributed throughout the School, in main reception areas and in Halls, to around 3,200 people. Photographs The School photographer takes pictures of many LSE events and activities for LSE publications. There is a small charge for his services. There is also an extensive library of photographs which can be used in publications. ContactNigel Stead
Plaques If you are intending to produce a plaque or notice, please follow the School's house style. Essentially this means the typeface should be Frutiger and the lettering should be upper and lower case. ContactDesign Unit

Press coverage If you would like to get more media coverage for your activities please consult the Press Office. We can advise you about different ways to go about this, including press releases. ContactJessica Winterstein
Publications schedule If you would like to find out when the School will be publishing its main publications such as the Graduate and Undergraduate Prospectuses, LSE Magazine and Profile, you can find these dates listed in the corporate publications schedule listed in public folders. We plan the School's publications well in advance, and you will be able to see what is being published over the coming year (at least).
