The Centre's human rights teaching includes the multidisciplinary MSc Human Rights and a series of short evening courses examining different aspects of human rights principles and practice. 

Short courses in human rights

• Certificate in international human rights law and practice
• Law, war and human rights - this course will next be run in Spring 09
• Understanding women's human rights - this course will next be run in Summer 09

Our three short courses in human rights provide a comprehensive understanding of the human rights principles relating to the area under consideration. They are taught by leading academic experts and practitioners over a series of Monday evening sessions. All courses have been awarded CPD accreditation by the Law Society and Bar Standards Board.

MSc Human Rights

A genuinely multidisciplinary course, our masters degree provides a detailed analysis of the development of the human rights idea, its political and sociological contexts and its foundation in international and national law. The programme is now closed for the October 08 start.
