The Chevening Scholarships

The British Chevening Scholarships are funded by the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and administered by the British Council.

They are prestigious awards which enable people from overseas to study or conduct research in the UK.

Scholarships are offered in over 150 countries to allow talented graduates and young professionals to gain skills, further their studies and researches and become familiar with the UK through courses and programmes relevant and beneficial to their own countries.

Each year about 2,300 scholarships are offered for such postgraduate studies and research.
