Gender, Work and Life in the New Global Economy

Economic and Social Research Council logoYou are invited to participate in an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) seminar series on Gender, Work and Life in the New Global Economy. The series is coordinated by Diane Perrons at the LSE Gender Institute;  Diane Elson, University of Essex; Majella Kilkey, University of Hull; Linda McDowell, University of Oxford and Ruth Pearson, University of Leeds.

The first seminar will be on 1st February 2006, the last in November 2007 and they will take place in London, Hull, Oxford and Leeds - dates and times to be announced. If you wish to contribute a paper or attend the seminars please contact Hazel Johnstone, the seminar administrator, at the Gender Institute: h.johnstone@lse.ac.uk or +44 (0)207 955 7602. 

Please note that places are limited to 30 for each seminar. There is no registration fee. We have some limited funds to bring speakers from outside of Europe.
