Towers Cycle Park

From 10.00 am Monday 21st January 2008, the Estates Division will open a secure cycle parking facility in the car park beneath the Towers. There is space for 66 bicycles and the system will be operated by the School's Security Section.

Access is by swipe card, available from Tower 3 reception, and the following sets out the Conditions of Use for the facility.

Secure Cycle Parking in the Towers Garage

Conditions of use

Parking is allocated on a first come first served basis There are sixty six parking spaces split between shed 1 ( 25 bays) and shed 2 (26-66)
Cycle parking is allocated on a day use basis Mon – Sun, 7am – midnight
Overnight storage is not permitted any breach will result in the cycle being removed by security
Entry to the parking shed is by swipe card
Swipe entry cards issued from the reception desk at Tower Three on production of a valid LSE id card
On collection of cycle the swipe entry card should be returned using the drop box located outside the parking shed
Failure to return the swipe card on the same day of issue may result in a ban on parking privileges
Cyclists to enter & exit the garage using the main gate of the garage at bottom of slope (gate operates on a push button electronically controlled system , controls located directly inside and outside the gate)
The school will hold no liability to loss or damage to cycles parked in the storage sheds
Please ensure the gate to the bike shed is firmly secured behind you on leaving

After securing your bicycle and likewise on your return to collect it please use the lift or staircase in Tower Two to enter and exit the Garage . The ramp is not to be used as a pedestrian walkway.

For your safety

· Cyclists must dismount cycle before descending the slope

· There are sections of the garage with low level ceiling – please walk your cycle in this area

· Be aware that the Towers garage is a shared motor vehicle , motorcycle and bicycle parking facility. Proceed with caution at all times
