Condition Survey 2008

(Updated 16th April 2008)

Colleagues

As part of our continuing estate improvement programme, the Estates Division has appointed QMP Consultancy Services to undertake a Condition Survey of the entire estate.

A condition survey is a visual inspection of all structure and fabric and all major plant and services by a team of Chartered Surveyors. The survey will apply to every building, Hall and sports facility. Once the survey is complete the planning of refurbishment works and other improvements can be agreed and programmed which will allow us to commence with various projects.

The condition survey has started week commencing 14th April and will continue through to July 2008. The team of surveyors have LSE security identification cards and a letter of authority from the Estates Division. If you should come across the surveyors while they are undertaking their instructions you may request that they identify themselves at any time.

The consultants undertaking the survey are :

David Hobbs
Jason Perry
Phillip Ellis
Ray Osborne
Stewart Thornton
