Cleaning and Environmental Services Update

New cleaning contract

ISS Facilities Services Limited is the incumbent cleaning contractor for the Houghton Street campus.

The Living Wage has been adopted by the School and is being phased over three years which means that the cleaners receive a higher rate of pay than the statutory minimum wage along with the other additional benefits.

The site manager employed by ISS will be Vivianna Zoppola, and the LSE Cleaning and Environmental Services Manager is Jossette Edwards-Leigh. Should you need to report any day-to-day cleaning related problems, requests or issues to Estates please complete an environmental request form .

Please continue to report emergencies such as spillages and flooding directly to the Estates Help Desk on ext. 2444 (or #6244 from the telephones located in corridors). This service is available between 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday.  During out of  hours  (after 5pm and weekends) please call ext 2000.
