9 Implementation and review of policy

9.01 Quarterly Review

Asbestos Management Team meetings will be held quarterly to review and monitor the Action Plan timetable.

9.02 Annual Review

9.02.1 The Health and Safety Officer together with the School's approved Asbestos Consultant will undertake an annual audit of the:

• Asbestos Management Policy
• Asbestos Management Plan
• Asbestos Register

Their findings will form the basis of the report for the Asbestos Manager.

9.02.2 The Asbestos Manager, as part of the Asbestos Management Team, will meet to review recommendations made by the Health and Safety Officer and asbestos consultants.  

The Asbestos Manager will put forward proposals to the Estates Director: Facilities and Projects for approval which the Asbestos Manager will then implement.  

The Asbestos Manager will notify the Health and Safety Officer of any amendments to the policy.
