THE Awards 2008 - "facts" project shortlisted

The "How Well Do 'Facts' Travel?" project has been shortlisted for "Research Project of the Year" in the 2008 Times Higher Education (THE)Awards. The shortlist was announced on Friday 25 September 2008.
This year, the THE Awards, which recognise excellence and innovation in higher education and research, attracted over 500 entries from more than 130 institutions. The winners will be announced in a black-tie ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on 23 October 2008.
LSE magazine
The LSE Magazine, which is published twice a year and distributed to over 80,000 readers, recently featured a double-page spread about the "facts" project, written by Jon Adams and Mary Morgan. The article can be found here.
Project profiled in the national press
On 15 April, 2008, the "facts" project was profiled in the Guardian's Education supplement by journalist John Crace. The piece, called Lost in Transmission, can be found here.
