Data Management is responsible for maintaining the quality of student records held on the SITS database; checking the integrity of the data; defining the codes used; and reporting on LSE's student population to the Higher Education Statistical Agency (HESA) and other external agencies.
Data Management provides training and advice to users throughout ARD and Academic Departments on how to use SITS effectively.
It also provides Business Objects reports of student examination results to the School's Examination Boards and generates Pass Lists for students, academic departments and the Academic Registrars' offices.
