Carter Academic Service Entrepreneur Grant (CASE) 2008-09

LSE has been selected to present a grant from the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Partnership Foundation in the UK. The grant will be given to the student whose application indicates the most innovative and promising use of £1,000 to establish or significantly further a partnership between the student, the LSE and a community non-profit organisation based in London.

Administered by the LSE Volunteer Centre, this grant seeks to foster academic-service learning at colleges and universities and is already established in 12 North-American Universities.

The LSE CASE Grant also offers the award winning student with the opportunity to receive a second grant whereby s/he can re-create the project in their home city or country with a new community partner and a second micro-grant of equal amount.

The program is limited to students currently enrolled at LSE.

For more information, please look at the Rule and Guidelines, and Timetable page.
