Changes to the International Graduate Scheme (IGS)  The Home Office have announced the introduction of a new points-based immigration tier system.  The IGS scheme has now been replaced by the post-study work visa, Tier 1 of the points based system, which enables international students graduating with a bachelors or higher degree to apply for a visa to work in the UK for up to 2 years. Graduates currently holding an IGS or SEGS visa may be able to transfer to the new visa. See Work permits and visa

Search for job vacancies
To search for jobs on My Careers Service click on the link and register as 'Alumni' for a new graduate password and username. Please note, the 'Graduate' username and password for My Careers Service is separate from the LSE Alumni username and network password which is available via Alumni Relations.  Please call us on 020 7955 7135 or email careers@lse.ac.uk if you have any questions.

The Alumni Professional Mentoring Network
An initiative by the Alumni Relations team that aims to help connect alumni of all ages and experience. The LSE Alumni Professional Mentoring Network now has a solid foundation of over 450 active mentors and 1,350 active mentees in 75 countries covering 35 different professions and sectors. If you register as a 'Alumni' on My Careers Service, you can tell us about your career preferences (in 'My Profile') and we'll email you about relevant jobs and careers events.  Select the 'Alumni' option and follow the instructions to register.

Free LSE Alumni email account
When you graduate from LSE, you can register for an account as part of Houghton Street Online via Alumni Relations. They will provide you with a new LSE username and password to access most password protected areas of the LSE website.
