Careers advice for LSE alumni

We regret that we are unable to offer our services to graduates from other universities. You may find useful information in Information for prospective students.

Under two years since graduation

LSE alumni are able to book free, one-to-one appointments with a careers adviser for up to two years from the date of your graduation ceremony.

Call us on the morning of the day you want to come for an appointment at 9.30am on 020 7955 7135. We reserve several appointments for alumni each day which can only be booked via telephone on a first come, first served basis. Please call at 9.30am sharp.  The phone diverts automatically to voicemail when engaged, so do try again. 

We are extremely busy in Michaelmas and early in Lent term and appointments are likely to be in high demand.  We must give priority to current students so in busy times, we may not be able to accommodate you immediately.

Over two years since graduation

Due to the high level of demand we experience at the Careers Service, we are unable to arrange careers advice appointments for LSE alumni who have graduated over two years ago. However, there are still a range of services you can use:

My Careers Service
Search for jobs in 'Search for opportunities'
Register your interests in 'My profile' and we'll send you targeted emails about jobs and events that match your career preferences.

Information Team
If you have any questions, the Information Team may be able to help. Email us careers@lse.ac.uk or call 020 7955 7135. During quieter times, (March - September is best) you are welcome to make use of the Careers Information Room. 

Careers Service website and online information
The website is constantly growing and is full of careers information tailored specifically to the needs of LSE students. Currently, we are working to enable LSE alumni to access the Information for current students area of the website, where you will be able to access all available online careers information.  In the meantime, please do contact the Information team if you have a query and we'll be happy to email you relevant information: careers@lse.ac.uk
