Judith Baines, Careers Adviser 0207 107 5209 j.a.baines@lse.ac.uk Judith graduated from Newcastle University with a Combined Honours degree in English and International Politics and later gained and MBA (Exec) from the University of North London. Her career has been mainly in the voluntary and university sectors before specialising in careers work. Her departmental responsibilities are: law, accounting, finance, anthropology, mathematics, philosophy and social psychology, with her main area of interest being the legal sector.

Robin Broadway, Careers Adviser 0207 107 5288 r.m.broadway@lse.ac.uk Robin graduated in Social Anthropology from Christ's College, Cambridge and has a Diploma in Personnel Management from LSE. He has been a VSO volunteer (in Laos), a commercial banker in the Gulf and, for most of his career, a Human Resources Officer with the IMF in Washington, DC (including two 3-year overseas assignments, one to the Asian Development Bank in Manila, and the other to the IMF Paris Office in charge of recruitment from Europe). His areas of interest are the international organisations.

Viki Chinn, Careers adviser v.e.chinn@lse.ac.uk Viki Chinn graduated in Philosophy from Lancaster University and began her career in the retail and FMCG sector later moving into both the charity and public sector. With management experience in both public and private sector, Viki is also a specialist in disability and employment related issues.
Viki looks after the following LSE departements: International History, International Relations, Economics, Media, MSc Management and Economics, Management and Economics Strategy group.

Kate Daubney, Careers adviser 020 7955 7132 k.daubney@lse.ac.uk Kate Daubney brings varied first-hand experience of the PhD process to her role as the PhD and post-doctoral careers adviser. After an undergraduate degree in Maths and Music, and a Masters in Sociology, Kate read for a PhD in film music at Leeds, studying initially full time in the UK and the US, and then part time whilst working as a university lecturer. She has worked both inside and outside academia since completing her doctorate, including career development work with spouses and partners of UK diplomats.

Shaun Harris, Assistant Director 020 7955 7133 s.j.harris@lse.ac.uk Shaun graduated in History from Durham University and his career has been in Tourism, Marketing, Human Resources and the International NGO Sector. He looks after DESTIN and the following departments - ADMIS. His areas of special interest are NGOs, the development sector, think tanks and information systems careers.

Andrea is a careers adviser and also works on Venture@LSE Careers. She has a BA in International Management as well as an MSc in Organisational Psychology from the LSE. Andrea has several years of international work experience in the public and private sector and is primarily interested in start-up support, organisational development and policy making. As well as working with LSEs entrepreneurs, Andrea looks after Government, the European Institute and Sociology

Iain graduated from Liverpool John Moore's with an Economics degree and worked as a manager for British Steel and Safeway Stores before moving into HE Careers. His main departmental responsibilities are: Law, Industrial Relations, Statistics, Operational Research and Geography and Environment. His main areas of interest are: Banking and finance, and the non-for-profit/NGO sectors |

Rachel Power, Careers adviser r.t.power@lse.ac.uk Rachel graduated from Royal Holloway with an BA in English, before studying for an MA in Historical Bibliography at Leeds University. She trained to become a professional librarian, completing an MA in Librarianship at Sheffield University and went on to work in information and research in Government, at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and the Greater London Authority. She recently completed an MSc in Career Management Counselling at Birkbeck. She looks after the Economic history and MSc Economics students. Her main areas of interest are consultancy, and the social policy and environmental sectors.

She graduated in Economics from the University of Stirling and her career has been in Education, University Careers Services and the Voluntary Sector. She looks after the Government Department, the Gender Institute and the European Institute. Her areas of special interest are the Banking and Finance Sector, the not for profit sector and manufacturing.
