City Fast Track 2008
LSE Careers Service is delighted to bring together a number of City experts to improve your understanding of the City and its role in the international markets. This flagship three day programme - City Fast Track - will be a chance for you to gain a thorough understanding of investment banking, to demystify some of the technical jargon, and network with people who work in the different divisions. It will be of benefit to those students with a genuine interest in a finance career.
 Programme
Over the three days there will be presentations and interactive case studies on topics such as:
Mergers and Acquisitions - the role of 'bulge bracket' banks and other professionals. Trading - a practical and interactive session providing strategies and techniques for emotional awareness. Credit Real Estate Asset Management - a business model built around owning and managing infrastructure assets.
There will also be a number of workshops and networking opportunities throughout the three days.
