Reporting risks
This page should be used if you wish to report a risk that you feel is not being appropriately addressed.
A risk is 'the threat or possibility that an action or event will adversely or beneficially affect the Schools ability to achieve its objectives'.
There are many risks that the School faces and they are dealt with in a number of ways. The most important risks are called strategic risks and progress in managing these is reported to the Council on a regular basis. The strategic risks are made up of operational risks. There are also other risks that arise as a result of project work such as building redevelopment.
If you have identified a risk that you think is not being properly managed, the first step is to report it to your line manager. If you feel that they have not taken appropriate steps, you can use the form below to 'break the bounds' and report it directly to the Secretary and Director of Administration, Adrian Hall, who is the senior officer responsible for risk management in the School.
This course of action is completely confidential and will not result in any reprisals from your line manager, but if you wish, you can report a risk anonymously.
