LSE choir and orchestra

LSE Choir

The LSE Choir is open to all students, staff and alumni. The choir will take part in two evening concerts and give three lunchtime recitals during the academic year 2008-09. The first choir rehearsal will be on Tuesday 7 October, 6pm, in the Shaw Library, 6th Floor, Old Building. Music to be announced. The chorus master is Andrew Campling. Singers are asked to attend rehearsals regularly on Tuesday evenings, 6pm - 7.30pm, and have some ability to read music.

LSE Orchestra

The LSE Orchestra is open to all students, staff and alumni. The orchestra will take part in two evening concerts and give three lunchtime recitals during the academic year 2008-09. The first orchestra rehearsal will be on Monday 13th October, 7.00pm, in the Shaw Library, 6th Floor, Old Building.  Audition will be held 6th October starting at 6pm. The conductor is Matthew Taylor. Orchestra members are asked to attend rehearsals regularly.  Repertoire to be announced.

Please note: both rehearsals take place in the Shaw Library, 6th floor, Old Building with orchestra rehearsals lasting from 6.45pm to 9.00pm and choir rehearsals taking place between 6.00pm and 7.30pm.
