Amit Chaudhuri in conversation with Peter D McDonald, will discuss literature, culture, and music, as well his angular relationship to post coloniality and to the tradition of Indian writing in English after Rushdie.

Amit Chaudhuri is a novelist, and his book of essays, Clearing a Space: Reflections on India, Literature and Culture, is published by Peter Lang in June 2008 . Peter D McDonald is Fellow and University Lecturer at St Hugh's College, Oxford.
