News

THE MUSE! - We are now fully accepting submissions for the Muse - please send all submissions to submissions@lsemuse.co.uk. We accept everything from poetry to short stories to comic strips so get writing! This year we have theme - it is memento/desire so if you have anything relating to that all the better, but we will still be accepting and printing anything. We are also finalising the Muse website (which will be active soon!) - you can find that at www.lsemuse.co.uk

General Society Meeting - This meeting is open and much recommended to all members to come so we can hear some ideas and feedback from you! Also, LSE is holding a Literature Festival next year, and we would love to have some ideas from you on how the Literature Society can help and any events we can hold. Most importantly, we would love it if you came and told us what you would like to see! There will be food!

Live Music and Poetry Night - We will be celebrating the avant-garde scene in New York City in the Late 1950s with the Live Music Society. This will be a whole evening of celebration of music and poetry inspired and from that era, and we will have from you live poetry reading, either original or any poems that you would like to read. This is going to be Literature Society's highlight of the term so please come along for a night of jazz and poetry!
