LSE Photo Prize Exhibition 2008: Thank you to everyone who took part in this event. The reception took place Wednesday 20 February, where we announced the four prize winners. The four prize winning photos along with shots of the event can be seen here.

Just economics and politics? Think again. While LSE does not teach arts or music, there is a vibrant cultural side to the School - from weekly free music concerts in the Shaw Library, and an LSE orchestra and choir with their own professional conductors, various film, art and photographic student societies, and artist-in-residence projects.

There are many works of art around the School and its residences. Explore LSE's arts and music and discover the School's cultural talent and diversity.

Previous Event:

Public Lecture with Amit Chaudhuri: Amit Chaudhuri in conversation with Peter D McDonald, will discuss literature, culture, and music, as well his angular relationship to post coloniality and to the tradition of Indian writing in English after Rushdie.
