LSE/Alcoa Foundation Programme

The Alcoa Foundation Conservation and Sustainability Fellowship Programme is hosted at LSE by the Centre for Environmental Policy and Governance.

Our Conservation and Sustainability Programme is a unique, international project to advance knowledge in the field of conservation and sustainability through the award of fellowships to outstanding academics and to practitioners from non-governmental organisations. LSE is one of five academic partners hosting post-doctoral fellows for two-year periods over the life of the programme (2005-10). These academic fellows are selected to conduct focused interdisciplinary research, guided by academic mentors from a sustainability cabinet.
