London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) forms part of the University of London. It is Britain's national school of public health, a leading postgraduate institution in Europe for public health and tropical medicine and an internationally recognised centre of excellence in public health, international health and tropical medicine with a remarkable depth and breadth of expertise.

LSE and LSHTM collaborate in the delivery of a joint programme leading to an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing. At LSE this programme is based in the Department of Social Policy. It offers students the opportunity to have close contacts with leading research centres in the field of health policy, such as LSE Health and Social Care based in the Department of Social Policy. The MSc Health Policy, Planning and Financing is one of the oldest graduate level programmes in health policy worldwide, having been offered continuously since 1986.
