HEC School of Management in Paris is ranked as one of the leading business schools in Europe and world-wide. It is rooted in French history as one of the four "Grandes Écoles" to train students in Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC). Founded in 1881 by the Paris Chamber of Commerce it grew and transformed itself into a self-standing school of management offering a wide range of graduate degree and executive education programmes in English, French or combined as bilingual course options.
TRIUM Global EMBA
In 2001 LSE joined forces with HEC, School of Management and NYU Stern School of Business in New York to launch the TRIUM Global Executive MBA programme. This triumvirate offers a unique combination of strengths and skills, bringing the leader in social sciences together with two leading business schools of world-wide renown. LSE's philosophy - that economics cannot be separated from the political and social context in which it operates - has thus become an integral part of a global EMBA curriculum developed jointly with these partners.
LSE MSc/HEC MBA
Building on this combination of strengths between social sciences and international management training, LSE and HEC launched a new double degree programme in November 2003. The LSE MSc/HEC MBA programme will allow students to combine obtaining an MSc at LSE in a management related discipline and a fast track HEC MBA in a period of two years.
