TSEP meetings

The inaugural meeting of the full TSEP network was held on 26-27 October 2002 at the LSE. 

Further meetings of the full network have taken place in Charles University, Prague (May 2003), Barcelona (January 2004), Tilburg (June 2004), and Berlin (March 2005).  Members of the network funded by the ESF (with Germany) also met in Milan  (March 2004) and Neuchatel (November 2004) to discuss and refine the theoretical aspects of TSEP's work. The network met again in Paris at the first joint conference of the International Society for Third Sector Research and EMES research network, hosting a panel on several of the European 'cases' investigated by the network.

TSEP workshops

The network hosted three workshops for key policy and third sector actors. The first of these took place in Barcelona in January 2004, the second in Tilburg in June 2004 and the most recent in Berlin, in March 2005. These workshops involved policy actors both from the EU (Brussels) level and from national communities in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain.  Reports of each of these three workshops and copies of some of the presentations made by invited speakers, are available in the Index of published reports and papers.

Final dissemination event

A final dissemination event took place in Brussels on 17 and 18 June, 2005. This included presentations based on the TSEP working paper series, with opportunities for third sector actors and officials working at both the European and national levels to discuss our findings and offer contributions that were fed into the final versions of the papers.
