Forthcoming courses and briefings (Please note that our one/two-day courses are run at Rosebery Hall's Conference Centre, and our half-day/short briefing sessions are held on the main LSE campus)
For most of our events we use a 'just-in-time system' which enables us to respond to demand more efficiently - staff send us booking forms for the specific areas they need training in and once we have sufficient people requiring a particular event we organise one. To book a place on one of our events please complete and send us a booking form.
N.B. As well as the SDU events taking place as listed below, you may like to take a look at The Association of University Administrators events website: http://www.aua.ac.uk/events/ . If you are interested in attending one of their events please complete an External Funding Application Form and send this to the Staff Development Unit (W209).

Plus: You may be interested in attending Biodanza classes: 'Biodanza is a system of music, dance movement, creativity and expression and was featured in the BBC TV series Making Slough Happy. The benefits are confidence, freedom, self-worth, wellbeing and happiness. You don't have to be a dancer to do it. There are no steps to learn, all the moves are easy to do and they are based on natural human movements. Biodanza is for the average person who wants to open up to all that's possible, and connect with their own magnificence'. Gita Sootarsing has run classes for LSE staff in the past and runs her own classes at The Place, just off the Euston Road, 2 stops on the Piccadilly line from Holborn or half a dozen stops on buses 68,168,59 and 91. For further details her website is: www.biodanzacentral.com and her email address is: gitasootarsing@btinternet.com
