LSE talent
LSE talent was set up in 2005 to act as a front for a number of cross divisional School based initiatives.
As we go into the 2006/7 academic session LSE talent will provide a new focus on School project opportunities for staff, offering a first port of call for areas able to offer new experiences and in house development for colleagues.
If you have a School based project that you think will offer a new experience and development opportunities please contact a member of the LSE talent team.
If you are a member of staff wanting to get involved in a project please visit the Activities and Projects section of this website.
To kick start this initiative, we are pleased to post details of opportunities for staff to form part of a negotiating team aimed at setting up our new staff council.
We want this to come in to effect in 2007 and need a representative group from across the School to help turn what is still an idea into a reality, the aim being that we can all agree a format that will be able to work in practice.
Please see Staff Council for further information. The aims of LSE talent
LSE talent recognises the flexible boundaries of both work and development and aims to:
- celebrate and encourage talent within LSE;
- more fully engage staff at all levels to take advantage of a wide range of creative learning and development opportunities. As often as possible, these will be outside the classroom and, if possible, outside the School altogether!; and
- act as a key component of LSE's people development strategy, bringing together specific development opportunities and employee benefits.
