EU Kids Online

European Research on Cultural, Contextual and Risk Issues in Children's Safe Use of the Internet and New Media.

The EU Kids Online project (2006-2009) examines research carried out in 21 member states into how children and young people use the internet and new media.

This site contains details about the project and its participants, the reports that are currently available, covering what is researched, what the data show and methodological issues in researching children, researching online and researching cross-nationally. On the website there is a searchable database of European research on children's experience online. We also have the current and past newsletters sent out to our subscribers, details of out international advisory panel and links to other sites conducting research, other newsletter, active bodies in this field and policy documents. Finally, there are some details of Safer Internet Day
