The Corporate Relations Unit at LSE is part of the Research and Project Development Division. We are responsible for developing, designing and delivering long-term, sustainable research partnerships with the corporate sector using the expertise of leading academics within LSE.

We provide an entry point in to the School and can liaise with the relevant academic departments in order to discuss research proposals. We have developed a number of programmes, including the Centre for the Analysis of Risk and Regulation and the Deutsche Bank Risk Management Programme, the UBS Pensions Research Programme and the Manpower Human Resources Lab.

Why LSE?

LSE studies the social sciences in their broadest sense, with an academic profile spanning a wide range of disciplines: economics, politics and law, to sociology, information systems, and accounting and finance. There are 19 departments and institutes and more than 30 research centres.

Several subjects were pioneered at LSE, including anthropology, international relations and social policy. LSE's Research Lab is the base for more than 260 staff - one of the largest concentrations of applied economic, financial and social researchers anywhere in the world.

In the most recent national research assessment in the UK (2001), LSE came second after Cambridge for the quality of its research - and top if only the social sciences are taken into account.
